I just turned 29 in October and I am a mom of 4 girls ages 11 thru 2 mos. My husband is active duty military and currently deployed in Korea for a year, and will be returning in June 2006. When I was younger I began my interest in weight training and I had a friend who attended college and majoring in nutrition. He took me under his wings and turned my interest in the Ms Fitness competition. Unfortunately I became pregnant at a very young age and to say the least I did not maintain in the best physical health that I could of. So I am starting from scratch to transform my body into the healthy and fit body I know it can be. I am 5'4 165lbs. I wanted to get advise on the best workout routine that I can begin to lose the excess weight and become lean and strong. I have read so many books but since Ms Fitness competition is my long term goal I figured this would be the best place to turn to. I am ready to begin my journey, and I would at least love to be healthier and leaner when my husband returns. I want to be able to keep up with him when he goes running haha! Any advise would be helpful. Thanks

You can get great routine follow ups on this forum i am sure of it. But, my piece of suggestion is that stick to your goals and no matter what in life you must acheive what you have always wished for. Stuff up your house with music, machines and gymnastic cd's to keep you motivated.
