Hi! I am new to the boards. I here not to compete, but love to care for my body and have been working actively to get in shape. I do weights in the morning for an hour or so, treadmill for 30 mins in the morning and speed walk at night for an hour.
My question is this: Anyone out there have twins? I have twin boys that are two and a daughter that is one and my stomach has been so stretched that no matter what I do, the skin is not going to return to "normal." And now that we are on the subject, my breasts took a hit from breastfeeding as well.
I am currently 5'4" and 120 lbs.
Advice other than plastic surgery? I'm open to anything. The trainer at my gym told me to just "learn to love it" but come on guys, I want back in that bikini!!
Advice? Empathy? LOL Thanks-Suzie

Have you tried everything a clean diet, cardio, and resistance training? If you feel it isn't humanly possible to make a change and it bothers you that much I would get a consult with a couple different plastic surgeons and see what your options are.

LindaLu, I've been eating clean for three months now and doing cardio/resistance for six months. I've seen no improvement and in fact, the more weight that comes off, the more skin that sags. Any advice on how long time wise I should give diet and exercise before I admit defeat and see a doctor? Thanks for taking the time to read and answer my question. (Have a good weekend )

It takes at least a year before your body is just back to normal after giving birth. I would give yourself another 6 months of eating clean doing regular cardio and weight training workouts. Surely you must have noticed some improvements over the last 3-6 months if you are honest with yourself. It is easy to look at the one thing that you want to improve and feel discouraged if you don't see the results you want. Look at the bigger picture though. Are you fitting in your clothes better? Do you have more energy? Is your fitness level improving? Are you stronger? etc. I would also advise that you find a method to measure your improvement such as taking bodyfat composition regularly. Also taking pictures periodically from front back and side position is helpful. I would try 10 minutes of European dry brushing daily to help improve your skin tone. I have seen amazing body transformations through the world of fitness. It takes hard work, dedication, education and determination to achieve the body you desire. You must first believe before you can succeed. If it were easy everyone would look like they stepped off the cover of a fitness magazine. LindaLu
