okay so i am 24 yrs old... 5'2 and about 155lbs.. i know not the best stats you have ever seen. :-/ i have always watched ms. fitness on T.V. since i was young and I believe that this is some thing that i would enjoy doing. i am graduating from nursing school in may and i am going to have alot of new free time on my hands...
so, i guess my question is.....
~how much time do i need? ~how much should i weight to be ready to compete? ~where do i even begin.... (so do i just start loosing weight, and when i get where i need to be i start defining my muscles???)
I am such a beginner i don't even know where to begin!

I usually advise starting 6-9 months out for a newbie.
Since you are a beginner, I would order either Linda Cusamo's Figure Competition Guide or Tatiana's Anderson's Guide To Competing.
I don't know your bodyfat or bone structure so it would be hard for me to give you a certain weight you should be at.
Getting your body fat composition tested by a personal trainer would be a good starting point for you
Compete with what you feel is your best body. I promise you can rest assured no body will hop up on stage to weigh or measure you.
