Hi! Im new to this forum and my first question is what would be the ideal post-cardio meal if you do cardio first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and your goal is to loose body fat and maintain/gain lbm Thanks I find that is the best time to get my creatine in. both suggestions are great but I am allergic to eggs so I would go with oatmeal or a shake with protein, creatine, frozen fruit, glutamine, greens and udos oil. t depends on the type of cardio you are doing.
If you are doing regular steady state cardio, they say to have a light meal/snack 1-2 hours before doing it/
If you are doing HIIT, you are supposed to treat it like a lifting session in terms of nutrition because it uses a lot more energy. So you would want a good portion of complex carbs and protein 60-90 minutes before doing HIIT.
In regards to what to eat after, I usually just wait an hour after my cardio and have my next meal.

Fruits and protein based diet along with the cardio workout work effectively to burn the fat and lose all unnecessary body weight. Raw vegetables, fruits juices, vegetables soups, salad, fish, and eggs are the best options along with cardio workout for the fat burning. Adam Prowse
