I have gone to every site imaginable I'm very interested in one day competing in a fitness competition. I have started a diet plan and a work our regimen. I'm 23 in good physical shape 120 lbs. I have participated in many sports though out my life..Does anyone have any advice for me?Possibly some good workouts for my thighs and back ,these seem to be my trouble spots. Or any other advice I could use to get into this sport?
Thanks Amanda

Here are a few suggestions for you: 1.Order the latest Ms. Fitness Video and watch the routines to get a feel for what the judges are looking for and select the routines you like most that fit your own personal style. 2.Make a list of what you can do, almost do & hope to do by contest. 3.Go to your local Dance/Cheerleading Gym and hire a person or coach that you can work with once or twice a week. 4.See if you can find any Ms. Fitness competitions locally to go to. 5. Hire a personal trainer that understands what your trying to achieve 6. Makeup a portfolio and try to find some sponsors who might help pay for some of your travel, evening gowns, routine outfits and swimsuits etc. 7.Decide what contests fit into your own personal time schedule and then decide what type of eating plan you'll need to follow. 8.Think about what you would like to talk about & convey to others in the speech round. Practice on your smile & walking in heels. This is your time to shine! 9. My favorite eating plan is "The Fat Flush Plan" by Ann Louise Gittleman 10. I love Brad Schofield's book "Look Great Naked" 11. Tatiana Anderson has two excellent books; "Guide To Competition Success" and "Fitness Menus" www.TatianaAnderson.com12. Ms Fitness Veteran Tina Thompson Pope has some excellent videos for toning up you can contact her or purchase her videos at www.TinaThompsonfitness.com13. Cathe Fredrich's advanced videos are my all time favorite way to train when trying to get in shape for the fitness routine round If you have any questions about costumes and choreographers etc. I would be happy to recommend someone.
