Great recipe. Try this one too Ingredients 75 g softened butter 75 g caster sugar 1 large egg, beaten 225 g wholemeal flour 2 tsp baking powder 250 g bananas, mashed (about 3 medium bananas) 2 tbsp honey Method 1. Preheat the oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Grease and a 1kg loaf tin and line the base with parchment paper.
2. Whisk the butter and sugar together until pale and fluffy, then gradually whisk in the beaten egg.
3. Mix the flour and baking powder together and fold into the butter mixture. Stir in the bananas and honey.
4. Sthingy the batter into the prepared tin and bake for 40-45 minutes or until the loaf is firm to touch and a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean.
5. Allow to cool slightly before removing from the tin.
