Monicab,
If you have not found a choreographer yet, go to Backstage.com. I do not think you have to be a member to access this part, but I am not exactly sure. Another one is Auditions 4 dancers by Grover Dale. Both of these sites are very reputable. If you live in a major city, you can buy a copy of Backstage off the newstand, but you will have to look for it yourself. This is a publicaton that seems very foreign to the sales people.

Learn a classical form of dance as young as possible. Focus your dance training on a specific style of dance and begin intensive training in that style as a teenager. Begin auditioning for dance troupes and performances when you are 17 years old.

Choreography a lot of hard work and knowledge of various dances. Apart from this creativity and passion is also important.
