Everyone,
My name is Cami Krueger. I am extremely interested in beginning to compete in Ms Fitness competitions. I, however, am pretty overweight right now, and have begun a program that will get me into where I need to be. Right now, this is only a dream to me. But it lights a fire within me, and I KNOW I can do it. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to get started?
I live in Utah, which makes it more difficult. I don't believe there are any choreographers in Utah - though I am considering starting a gymnastics/tumbling class once a week. I am honored to be on this board - and I am so excited to meet all of you one day on stage!
Fitness is the only way to live life. Cami

Hi Cami. Well Congratulations on your choice. I made the same choice two years ago, and just competed at Ms. Fitness USA in Las Vegas. It was a long road but an awesome experience. I can make the following suggestions: 1) pick a show you want to do 2) you can usually find someone to help you with a routine at either a gymnastics studio or a dance studio, purchase a Ms. Fitness video and show them what you need 3) work with a dietician and trainer on food and basic body sculpting; 4) believe in yourself, even for those days you think that it will never work. Remember, the person you will become because you have chosen to do something greater with yourself will be worth every minute Good Luck and keep us up to date.
