I am going to be competing in the Sept. I have not competed before. I am using Sept. for experience and if I qualify for Vegas then, well awesome!!! But I have a lot to learn so I will be asking lots of questions. Here are some that I have come across. #1 I have 4 months to prepare for Sept. Right now I am on a strict diet of lean meats, veges, some fruits, high protein. Here's what I ate today... Breakfast: Oatmeal with 2 eggs Lunch: Subway grilled chicken breast salad with veges, yogurt and Diet Coke Snack: Protein Bar (after workout) Snack: apple Dinner: grilled chicken breast with green beans, glass of low fat vanilla soy milk Snack: Protein Bar Should I be eating like this is still trying to bulk? Here are my current stats: wt: 148lbs Waist: 27 in. Abdomen: 31.5 (measured over belly button) Hips: 40in Body Fat%: 23% My goal wt for competition is 135 and my goal body fat% is 16% for Sept. and 13% for Vegas in 2010. I have a split training schedule on my blog nomorebuts.blogspot.com My before pic is also on there. I have alot of toning to do and muscle building. Especially in the glutes. Am I on the right track or should I bulk some more and then lean up closer to competition? Okay next question: what should the protein, fats, carb ratio be right before competition? I know the formulas, just curious of the recommended ratio. I know this is alot and you all are busy training yourself, so I appreciate all your help! Erin
