It looks like flexibility is key. I've watched a couple routines via youtube and I was wondering for how long should I be stretching everyday? Can someone give me a stretching routine? What are some valuable stretches for extremely tight hamstrings?

Stretch 30-60 minutes at least 3 times per week . Really I think your best bet would be to get a yoga video, or go to a local gym that offers a yoga program.
