HELLO EVERYONE
IT'S ME DORI FOR SOME MORE QUESTIONS AND ADVICE IF ANYONE CAN ASSIST. WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO START PREPARING FOR YOUR FIRST FITNESS COMPETITION. I LIVE IN MONTCLAIR CALIFORNIA AND ACCORDING TO THE CONTEST DATES I THINK THE BEST ONE I WOULD TRY FOR WOULD BE IN FEBRUARY. IS THIS TOO SOON OR TOO LATE TO GET INTO. ALSO IF I WANTED TO GO SEE A FITNESS COMPETITION HOW WOULD I GO ABOUT GETTING TICKETS OR ARE THEY OPEN TO SPECTATORS. YOUR PROMPT REPLY IS MOST APPRECIATED. I HAVE JUST ONE MORE QUESTION ABOUT FLEXIBILITY. I USED TO BE VERY FLEXIBLE AND HAVE NOTICED OVER THE YEARS IT'S HARDER FOR ME TO DO CERTAIN THINGS I USED TO DO.. IS THERE A WAY TO GET MY FLEXIBILITY BACK IF SO... HOW.? PLEASE HELP

Hi Dori! Your question is a good one but it varies for everyone. Some girls can walk into a show after a month of prep work and others take longer such as three months, six months etc etc.... It all depends on how you prepare and what you need to improve upon~ I have some wonderful contacts on California that can help you get started! With regard to flexibility, it all depends on you-I make it mandatory for my clients to enroll in yoga/pilates two tothree times per week to improve their flexibility--its a must!! If you need those contacts, feel free to email me! Best of luck! cathy@savagechoreography.com
