Is there someplace that gives directions on how the walk is supposed to be done so I can practice it for the qualifier? I keep seeing things about quarter turns and keeping your heels together for them. Is that just for figure competitions?
Also, what kind of heels do I need for the swimsuit round for the qualifier? Do they have to be clear heels or just complement the suit?
Thanks for the help!

Usually, they will go over that at your qualifier registration meeting. In a Quarter turn you simply turn front, side, and back. In a Ms Fitness competition during quarter turns they don't want you to flex, you will just stand naturally. You will also be asked to do a model walk in which you will walk out to center stage pose, walk to the left corner, walk to the right corner, back in the center full model turn, and then exit. Take advantage of your individual time on stage because you've worked hard for it and it is your time to shine. If you still feel apprehensive about the walk, when you get to your qualifier I would just ask them not to put you first so you can see the model walk executed, or ask one of the competitors to show you how it is done. Clear heels look the best.
