I have so many questions I don't know where to begin. First off I want to say that I give thumbs up to all women who were able to reach their goals in competing.
However, I am new to all this and have never competed before. I have recently had a child and been in the gym for the past 3 months. My work out routine is strict to 4 days a week. 45 min cardio and weight training. I just spoke to a personal trainer and my diet was ALL WRONG! I thought all this time I could have been burning more fat than I have. She basically told me no dairy, sugar, pasta etc. So now in the morning I have black coffee, 1 cup oatmeal and 5oz water with protein powder. For snack I have 1 egg white, lunch I have a tuna salad that consist of lettuce, almonds, flax oil, tuna & ms dash ,,,snack a large apple or Greek yogurt, dinner I have brown rice with fish or chicken (not fried) snack another 5oz water with protein powder. All in all throughout the day I have a gallon of water.
I weigh 220, 5'7 (39% body fat)and to look at me, you would be shocked to think that I really weigh this much. It's not that I am fat, I am just really solid and carry my weight well. However, during pregnancy I gained more than expected. Anyways, everyone has to start somewhere and I need help with steps to reach my goal to compete. If there is any advice anyone can give me it would be GREAT. ;D[/font]
I have been following the diet I was given to the T and it's been working so well. I have dropped 15 pounds since then. Feeling great and seeing results
