My husband wants me to accompany him to a "jeep rock crawling" event. I will be competing in my first show in 17 weeks & I am anxious that I am not leaning down as fast as I'd like (even though my trainer is not worried.) If I go with him I won't get my 5-6 meals in each day (he wants to be gone for 4 days) or my water & it will be almost impossible to get all my protein in & the temptations around me will be many. How can I tell him that I need to stay home & focus on my training without sounding like a diva or like I don't support him & how can I not support him in this when I want him to support me? Any advice would be helpful...

I would totally go support your husband and bring your food and water in a cooler. You can compete, get lean, and still have a life. I find when you show your spouse support you will receive it in return, which is so worth it! Besides you have more then enough time to get lean enough for a qualifier.
