Hi all. I'm somewhat new and ready to get going with my fitness program. I have been wanting to compete in figure for some time now and decided that I should just do it. I really need to get help on the cutting part.

Post your plan here, what do you have for a cutting plan so far? I have some free resources that can help, I think the figure basics ebook will be a good start, at lindacusmano.com in downloads section, register free first. the idea is to get lean enough so you can do this slowly and progressively, feel good, no weakness or lack of energy etc. this means planning ahead well. The last few weeks is where you go with protein 3-4 oz for each main meal with some greens and the carbs depend on your look at that point and how you react to them. oats, yams, bananas are typical.....but everyone is different. Protein shakes with these carbs for the snacks between is an idea. if you are very lean you can have some quinoa with the last 2 main meals. Lots of water......... this is very general though.
